It is with very great sadness that we announce the loss of Gosport Camera Club’s Chairman, Malcolm Sowdon, who died suddenly and unexpectedly on Saturday the 21st of September.
Malcolm was a hugely influential member of Gosport Camera Club, performing very many functions behind the scenes as well as being it’s Chairman. Many Southern Federations Clubs will be familiar with Malcolm who attended as many League rounds as possible (both Prints and PDIs), as well as Championship and Finals event.
Whilst Malcolm had long standing health issues, he had been very healthy of late, giving no cause for concern. His loss has come as a shock to all who knew him and he will be sadly missed by us all. Our sympathy goes to his wife (Mo) and his family at this time.
