2014 SCPF Championships
The SCPF Championships, hosted this year by Chichester CC on 23rd March, were a huge success, running absolutely like clockwork throughout. The hall was full virtually to capacity and as ever we had a great number of inspirational images.
The judges this year were Chris Palmer, Leigh Preston and Steve Smith.
The Open Championships were won by Southampton (Prints) and Chichester (PDIs), and the Small clubs as last year with Overton winning both Prints and PDIs.

A huge thanks has to go to Chichester CC and Chairman Tony Hughes, who produced a large team of volunteers, but especially to Sheila Tester who masterminded the whole operation brilliantly… especially as she started in the role with no understanding at all of what was required. Thanks too to Glyn Edmunds who was the Council lead, for his support and guidance to Sheila ( along with advice based on last year from Jean Brooks), and Eric Clark from Havant who masterminded the projection issues.
We also has a nice bonus too … because the morning session finished quite a bit earlier than scheduled, the judges did an ad-hoc Q & A session, which gave us some fascinating insights into their judging processes and a lot of advice about successful imaging; in fact this went down so well it may be built in to future Championships.
