During routine browsing of our site, standard analytic data is collected. This includes IP address, browser, referring links etc. This is normal web-browsing meta data. This information is not stored other than in server logs, and is removed by cron-jobs daily, weekly, monthly depending on the log type. We do not use Google analytics or other third party services to track information about our website, or its visitors.
We do use cookies, and a consent bar has been added to the website.
League, Exhibition and Championship Image Uploads.
During the form submission of your images for these inter-club competitions, analytic data is collected. This includes, IP address (to ensure that entries are uploaded from a single source), browser type/user agent (to help diagnose issues with browser compatibility), author name, club details, email & phone number (for contact).
We also examine the meta data of the images for file size, image dimensions and colour-space. No other meta data stored within the files is stored or recorded other than within the file itself, which is stored on our servers during the periods of the running competition. However, files are passed out to all clubs within the same league, so please make sure that if you do not wish your personal information stored within meta data (e.g. (c), camera type, geo-location, personal meta-tags, keywords) that you remove them prior to upload. We will not strip this information from the files (as not to tamper with the file), and upload with this information is consenting for this information to be stored on our server.
Information about previous competitions/entries is kept in our database. This is at club/author/title level, and the more detailed browser/IP is discarded. We keep this information to ensure that the SCPF does not submit entries to National/PAGB competitions that have been previously entered.
In future competitions a consent box will be added.
Contact and Support Forms.
During submission of these forms, any submitted contact details are stored whilst your query is being dealt with. Our ticket system tracks the progress of support cases / information requests. Once the ticket is closed / resolved, the information is kept for a period (6 months) to ensure that there is no need to follow up etc.
