20 photography talks, each up to 10 minutes each
Last year’s Printing Day proved very popular and we’re holding another event this autumn. This time around your participation will make the day’s format work so much better. So many of our events are purely competitions – this is quite different.
Format of the day
There will be a pair of hour long sessions before lunch, each with 5 speakers, and similar sessions in the afternoon. After each session the speakers will be available to answer your questions in person.
Come along, enjoy the talks and meet the speakers. It is a great opportunity to see people and many of them are available to book for an evening at your club. Council members will also be there to answer your questions on the Federation, its competitions and awards. We are limited to 100 attendees so book early to avoid disappointment.
We do prefer to have free events for our members but this is an extra outside our normal range of events. We are only aiming to break even so the price is as low as we can make it. Tea, coffee and biscuits are included in the price – all day. Parking at Littleton Memorial Hall is free.
The talks will be about anything and everything, but all photography related.
You can bring something to show even if you don’t want to talk. There will be tables to put out work such as photo-books, prints or kit for people to look at during the breaks.
We hope to record the day so that edited highlights could be shown online at a later date for offshore clubs only. Only speakers that give their consent will have their talks shown.
