Apologies for an error in the original posting of the PDI results where the awards were incorrectly attributed due to a technical error in compiling the spreadsheet. The corrected information is posted below.

Stewarding is of vital importance to the Exhibition. Without a steward on duty we are not able to display the PDI Exhibition, unable to provide catalogues, and unable to help visitors with any information about the images on view, other photographic issues  or enquiries about SCPF or clubs. This really lets down both the Federation and the public.

There are a total of 38 half-day slots to fill and as of the date of this post only 13 have been taken, by seven clubs.  We encourage every club which has an entry to assist with stewarding, and the sooner bookings are made the better choice of dates will be available.

So please go to the online facility ( under Exhibition on the home page) where entry is very easy to complete.  If you have any problems please contact John Hodge on hodgeriba@aol.com or vice.president@southerncountiespf.org.uk

I’m currently working on getting the uploader sorted for the Exhibition….

Registration is a prerequisite to entry. This takes care of your contact details, which classes you wish to enter, and entry fees.

The official Registration end date was 30th August. However there are still 6 places available as at the start of September, so if any other clubs wish to make a late registration that will be permitted for a short period. Ideally contact the Exhibition Secretary Ray Acland (exhibition@southerncountiespf.org.uk) at the time of completing the on-line Registration to ensure that there is still a place available, as the limit of 35 clubs cannot be exceeded due to available space in the gallery, and registrations will be accepted on a first-come basis.

Entry to the Exhibition will as before be managed online. The uploading will be available shortly after the end of the uploading period for League entries (30th September), and the start date will be publicised on the web-site. Exhibition upload codes will be issued to all of the registered clubs at the start of the uploading period. Uploading will finish at the end of October. Please do not try to use last year’s codes or the League uploading codes.

Prints for the Exhibition will be collected at the Club Reps’ meeting on 16th November. It is essential that all of the prints are collected in by this date, as judging of the Exhibition takes place two days later on November 18th.

The Exhibition will be formally opened by the President of the PAGB Gordon Jenkins Hon PAGB on the Preview Evening Friday 4th January, and will be open to the public from 5th to 26th January.

Please, can you see if you can spare some time and help out with the exhibition stewarding?

Dates that still need filling  are:

6th,12th pm, 15th am,16th pm, 19th, 22nd, 23rd am, 27th pm   January 2018.

A big thanks to all who have signed up to date, a really good response so far this year!

Many thanks.

Annual Exhibition Information

Once again, the SCPF Annual Exhibition will be held at the Salisbury Library from Saturday 6th January until Saturday 27th January 2018.

As in previous years, print entries will be limited to 35 clubs due to the space available in the library.  There is no restriction on the number of clubs entering PDIs

Closing date for registration is the 31st August 2017 and forms can be found on the SCPF website. Acceptance will be on a first come first served basis with payment via the web. Cheques will be accepted if sent direct to Ray Acland at his home address.

Judging has been arranged for the 19th November 2017.  Uploading of images will be during October after completion of the leagues’ entries.  An actual date will be published later in the SCPF newsletter but all information must be submitted by 28th October 2017.  Please assist the committee by downloading entries as soon as possible after the published date and not leave it until the last minute.

It is most important that we adhere to these deadlines to allow sufficient time to carry out all the necessary preparatory work to facilitate the judging and subsequent preparation of the Exhibition catalogue.

May I remind all clubs that prints must be delivered to the Club Reps’ meeting on the 17th November 2017.  This date is only 48 hours before the judging and leaves very little time for preparation.

Friday 5th January 2018 will be the preview and prize giving evening.

Further information will be circulated via the SCPF newsletter.
